The Second Presidential Debate

Those of us who watched the second Presidential debate probably felt like President Obama won by a landslide. At least that's how I felt- and so did John Aravosis according to the article he wrote, Who won the debate? The Ba-Rock Star. He described Romney as being "a liar who doesn't believe in much." and that he has a lot of flip flops. I have to agree with him because I don't like the way Romney handles his debates. Even though he "won" the first debate, I didn't feel like he was being sincere, and that he was just saying things because people wanted to hear it but that he won't actually do what he's promising. I digress. I like how throughout the article, Aravosis states how president Obama won this debate. He included that Romney said Obama did not call the attack of our ambassador and "act of terror" until fourteen days later, but he was quickly shut down by both Obama and Candy Crowley saying that he indeed called it the next day. He states that the conservatives are saying that Obama's comment did not have anything to do with what happened in Libya, I don't think it could have been more obvious with the title "Remarks by the President on the Deaths of U.S. Embassy Staff in Libya”. The article goes on by saying that Romney got called out when Obama said his $5 trillion tax cut isn't adding up and people agreed. Aravosis says that Romney was being pushy throughout most of the debate; people don't like that. I sure don't want a president who promises a working tax plan but the most people see it differently. When asked about how they were different from George Bush, Aravosis states that President Obama did a "Masterful" job and of course I have to agree- because he did. He stated that we are not going to fix anything economically with social policy. Last but not least Avarosis says that Romney got a "3am call" after Obama brings up his 47% comment. I thought this was pretty funny because indeed Romney was figuratively "fumbling for his reading glasses" after that, you could see it in his face. I agree with this article, Obama did have a great night and I hope he keeps it up and proves Ray C. Fair's prediction wrong.
